Your Responsibilities
As a Hairstylist at Mauve Hair, you will deliver professional hair services while maintaining high standards of client care and salon operations.
Hair Services
- Cut and trim hair according to client instructions or preferences
- Shampoo customers’ hair
- Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
- Clean and style wigs and hair pieces
- Perform hair colouring techniques including dyes/tints and streaking/highlights
- Suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and preferences
Client Service & Front Desk Duties
- Book appointments
- Perform receptionist duties
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation

Skills and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- 2 to less than 3 years of hairstyling experience
- Strong client service skills
- Knowledge of hair cutting, styling, and colouring techniques
- Ability to multitask in a busy salon environment
- Comfort standing for extended periods
- Professionalism and attention to detail
