Your Responsibilities
As a Food Packer, you will play a key role in assembling and packing meals to meet Frozen Fresh’s quality, hygiene, and efficiency standards. Your duties include:
Food Packing & Production
- Pack food into trays according to packing requirements
- Operate basic packing equipment as required
- Measure and pack products with a high level of accuracy
- Ensure all packing tasks are completed on time and to a high standard
Hygiene & Cleaning
- Clean and sanitize equipment used in the packing area
- Maintain a tidy, organised, and hygienic workspace at all times
Handling & Movement
- Move products between the packing room and freezer or chiller
- Handle cold storage environments for short periods (5–10 minutes at a time)
- Lift and move items up to 20 kg, including overhead lifting
Teamwork & Communication
- Communicate effectively with other departments
- Assist in other departments when required
- Support the team to keep operations running smoothly

Skills and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or food production environment (preferred)
- Ability to lift heavy or awkward-shaped items overhead
- High level of physical fitness and stamina for standing full shifts
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work efficiently and self-manage tasks
- Willingness to work in cold environments when required
- Strong hygiene awareness and cleaning standards
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Clear and constructive communication skills
- Fluency in spoken and written English
- Flexibility to assist in other departments as needed
- Willingness to complete mandatory pre-employment screening, including ACC checks and drug testing
