Your Responsibilities
As a Carpenter at Hi-Tech Forming Ltd., you will play a key role in delivering quality construction and renovation projects. Your tasks include:
- Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine project requirements
- Preparing layouts according to building codes using proper measuring tools
- Measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials such as wood, steel, and composites
- Building foundations, installing floor beams, laying subflooring, and erecting walls and roofs
- Fitting and installing windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
- Supervising or guiding other workers when needed
- Maintaining, repairing, and renovating residential and commercial wooden structures
Skills and Requirements
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 2 to less than 3 years of relevant experience
- Strong understanding of blueprints, tools, and safety standards
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Teamwork spirit and reliability
- Commitment to quality craftsmanship
Note: This is a hands-on role that requires on-site work — no remote option is available.
