Your Responsibilities

As a Receptionist at Pinewood Lodge, you’ll be the face of the lodge — welcoming guests, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, and delivering outstanding service every day. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting and assisting guests during arrival and departure
  • Managing check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
  • Providing information about local attractions, events, and services
  • Assisting guests with directions within the lodge and surrounding areas
  • Resolving guest inquiries and concerns courteously and professionally
  • Maintaining a proactive, positive, and professional approach in all interactions

Skills and Requirements

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • Experience in a front office or customer service role
  • Familiarity with hotel operating systems (preferred but not essential)
  • A First Aid Certificate (advantageous)
  • A valid and unrestricted driver’s licence (beneficial)
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour
