Your Responsibilities
As a Receptionist at Pinewood Lodge, you’ll be the face of the lodge — welcoming guests, ensuring smooth check-ins and check-outs, and delivering outstanding service every day. Your key responsibilities include:
- Greeting and assisting guests during arrival and departure
- Managing check-in/check-out procedures efficiently
- Providing information about local attractions, events, and services
- Assisting guests with directions within the lodge and surrounding areas
- Resolving guest inquiries and concerns courteously and professionally
- Maintaining a proactive, positive, and professional approach in all interactions
Skills and Requirements
To thrive in this role, you should have:
- Experience in a front office or customer service role
- Familiarity with hotel operating systems (preferred but not essential)
- A First Aid Certificate (advantageous)
- A valid and unrestricted driver’s licence (beneficial)
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- A friendly, approachable, and professional demeanour
