Your Responsibilities
As a Bar Manager at The Blend Banquet and Events, you will oversee all aspects of bar operations and contribute to exceptional event experiences. Your responsibilities include:
Team Leadership & Supervision
- Recruit, train, and schedule bar staff
- Supervise team performance and provide guidance during events
- Ensure staff adherence to safety, hygiene, and service standards
Bar Operations & Inventory Management
- Organize and maintain bar inventory, ordering supplies as needed
- Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for beverages, food, and equipment
- Manage budgets, costs, and operational efficiency
Customer Service & Event Management
- Ensure excellent customer experiences for all guests and clients
- Address customer complaints or concerns professionally and promptly
- Collaborate with event coordinators to manage bar service during functions
- Support catering arrangements and on-site event management

Skills and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent in hospitality management (preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience managing a bar or hospitality operations
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of beverage service, inventory control, and event management
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Capacity to stand for extended periods and handle busy event days
- Problem-solving skills and professionalism under pressure
