Job Requirements

We’re looking for candidates who:

  • Have 2 to less than 3 years of experience in a farm, hatchery, or agricultural environment
  • Hold a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, organisation, and problem-solving skills
  • Have experience supervising teams and managing daily operations
  • Are detail-oriented with strong record-keeping and financial tracking abilities

Key Responsibilities

As Poultry Farm Manager, you will:

Farm OperationsOversee daily hatchery and poultry farm activities across various sites
Marketing & SalesDevelop and support marketing programs for poultry production
Financial ManagementMaintain and analyze financial and production records
Staff SupervisionRecruit, train, and lead farm staff and/or volunteers
ProcurementCoordinate supply purchases and inventory control

Work Conditions

This is a full-time, on-site position located primarily in Abbotsford, BC. The role involves working in hatchery environments and requires hands-on supervision of farm and animal care activities. Some flexibility in hours may be required based on operational needs.
