This permanent, full-time position is based at our 563ha farm located 12km from Ashburton. Job requirements:
Skills and Experience we are looking for are as follows
Competent knowledge of irrigation systems.
- Proven experience as a farm hand or in a similar role.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities
| Responsibility | Description |
|---|---|
| Health & Safety Compliance | Ensure adherence to Health & Safety standards and raise any concerns with the Farm Manager. |
| Machinery Operation & Maintenance | Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition. |
| Weekend Work & Flexibility | Be available for weekend shifts and work during odd hours as required. |
| Support Across Farms | Provide assistance to other ANZCO farms/functions as needed, contributing to overall operational success. |
| Fencing & General Farm Duties | Carry out fencing tasks and various other general farm duties as required. |
| Farm Record Keeping | Maintain daily logs of farm activities, including tracking irrigator shifts. |
| Farm Maintenance | Complete farm maintenance tasks on time, including ensuring barns and sheds are tidy and functional. |
