Job Requirements
Allan Park Motor Sales is seeking welders who meet the following criteria:
- Language: English
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in welding
- Security Requirement: Criminal record check
- Work Conditions: Requires attention to detail and strong hand-eye coordination
Job Responsibilities
At Allan Park Motor Sales, you will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:
| Responsibility | Description |
|---|---|
| Welding Operations | Operate manual, semi-automatic, and fully automated welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products. |
| Quality Control | Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications. |
| Flame Cutting | Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment. |
| Metal Fitting | Fit, braze, and torch-straighten metal. |
| Material Assessment | Determine the weldability of various materials. |
| Equipment Handling | Operate hoisting and lifting equipment safely. |
| Machine Maintenance | Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment. |
