Job Requirements
Pattersons Family Restaurant is looking for individuals who fulfill the following criteria
Language: English
Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
Certification (Preferred but not required):
- Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
- Safe Food Handling Certificate
Job Responsibilities
As a Waiter/ waitress at Pattersons Family Restaurant you shall be responsible for the following
| Responsibility | Description |
|---|---|
| Serving Alcohol | Must be of legal age to mix and serve alcoholic beverages. |
| Customer Service | Address customers’ complaints or concerns. |
| Payment Handling | Present bills and accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, travelers’ cheques, or room billings. |
| Menu Knowledge | Describe menu items, including daily specials, and advise on selections. |
| Sales & Cash Management | Balance cash and record sales. |
| Cleaning Duties | Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs. |
| Guest Interaction | Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations, and answer questions regarding food and beverages. |
| Serving Duties | Serve food and beverages, take orders, and relay them to kitchen and bar staff. |
| Assisting Guests | Provide support to clients/guests with special needs. |
