New Zealand Couriers is looking for a dedicated and physically fit Night Shift Freight Handler to join our team at our Highbrook branch in East Tamaki. If you’re looking for a stable, full-time night shift role in a high-performing team, this opportunity is for you.

Job Requirements
We’re looking for someone who can bring the following:
- Ability to repetitively lift up to 25kg
- Physically fit and comfortable working on your feet
- Previous warehouse or freight handling experience is a bonus
- Strong focus on Health and Safety practices
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to working overnight hours
All candidates will be subject to pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check and drug test.
Key Responsibilities
As a Night Shift Freight Handler, your core duties will include:

| Freight Sorting | Efficiently sort parcels for outgoing deliveries according to route and zone |
| Parcel Loading | Load freight into courier vehicles safely and securely |
| Health & Safety | Maintain safe work practices and report hazards promptly |
| Depot Cleanliness | Help keep the warehouse and working areas clean and organized |
| Team Collaboration | Work closely with other handlers and supervisors to meet nightly goals |
Work Conditions
This is a night shift field-based role operating out of our Highbrook branch. You’ll work Monday to Friday, 9:00pm to 6:00am, in a dynamic and physically active environment. Full training and safety equipment will be provided.
