Job Requirements:
We are looking for a motivated individual who meets the following criteria:
- Experience: At least 2 years’ experience as a qualified electrician (industrial setting preferred, but not essential)
- Certifications: Fully Registered Electrician with a current practicing license
- Knowledge: Strong Health & Safety knowledge and commitment to a safety-first culture
- Skills: PLC root-cause analysis experience (Allen Bradley and/or Siemens) is beneficial
- Work Environment: Factory setting with the need to maintain machinery and plant
Job Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Electrician at Goodman Fielder, your key responsibilities will include:
| Responsibility | Description |
|---|---|
| Maintenance | Ensure machinery and plant are maintained for optimum performance through scheduled maintenance. |
| Troubleshooting | Perform preventative, predictive, and breakdown maintenance to ensure the smooth operation of equipment. |
| Electrical Equipment Maintenance | Maintain electrical control equipment, pumps, motors, VSDs, conveyors, and manufacturing/filling equipment. |
| Safety & Quality Standards | Drive factory quality and SHE (Safety, Health, and Environmental) standards, ensuring continued safety improvements. |
| Problem-Solving | Identify electrical issues and find solutions to enhance equipment reliability and performance. |
