Job Requirements
We’re looking for candidates who:
- Have 1 year to less than 2 years of cleaning or maintenance experience (essential)
- Are physically fit and able to handle the demands of cleaning in a factory setting
- Can work independently and with minimal supervision
- Are dependable, organized, and safety-conscious
- Can legally work in Canada (citizens, permanent or temporary residents with a valid permit)
Key Responsibilities
As a Factory Cleaner at Neptunus Yachts, your duties will include:
Task | Description |
---|---|
General Cleaning | Sweep, mop, scrub, and wax floors, hallways, and stairs |
Waste Management | Empty trash and recycling containers |
Heavy Cleaning | Use industrial vacuums to remove dirt, debris, and refuse |
Sanitation | Clean and disinfect bathrooms, fixtures, walls, and windows |
Maintenance Support | Perform light repairs such as painting and drywall patching |
Equipment Handling | Move furniture and operate forklifts as needed |
Outdoor Tasks | Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas |
Safety Checks | Support workplace health and cleanliness through regular inspections |
Work Conditions
This is a full-time, on-site position based at our St. Catharines factory. No remote work is available. The role involves repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and physical activity including bending, crouching, and kneeling.
