Job Requirements
We’re looking for qualified mechanics who meet the following criteria:
- Qualifications: Certificate III in Plant, Light, or Heavy Vehicle Mechanics
- Experience: Mechanical experience with plant or heavy vehicles; electrical and hydraulic knowledge an advantage
- Licence: Valid Driver Licence (mandatory)
- Flexibility: Willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and varied rosters
- Certifications: NSW Tradesperson Certification or equivalent
- Safety First: Understanding of WH&S regulations
Job Responsibilities
As part of our Mechanical Team, your day-to-day will include:
Responsibility | Description |

Vehicle Maintenance | Preventative and general maintenance on a wide range of vehicles |
Workshop Operations | Work in our Smiggin Holes or Guthega workshops on a rotating shift schedule |
Diagnostics & Repairs | Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical systems |
Safety & Standards | Ensure all machinery is safe and compliant with Perisher and WH&S standards |
Team Collaboration | Work closely with fellow technicians and the wider resort operations team |
